Constella
Have you ever felt welcome when visiting a loved one in the hospital? Chances are you said no. Constella is a non profit fueled by volunteers who give guests a warm welcome, help with paperwork, getting around the hospital and so much more. We plan to expand to taking care of kids in the playroom by 2027 and move to other hospitals.
Why Corinne started Constella
In 4th grade I didn’t have many friends at school. One of my few friends was a girl named Saamya. The next year I left that school and stopped seeing her. The year I left she texted me telling me she had leukemia. I wish I had visited her but the hospital never felt like a welcoming place and I was scared to.
When she died I knew I had to make a change. That is why I started Constella.
